This is a commercial outdoor guide service and retail store. It opened in 1972. It is based right on the Nantahala WEDDING Village Resort in the great smoky mountains. The Appalachian trail passes directly through the heart of the NOC, crossing the Nantahala WEDDING Village Resort bridge next to the outfitter.
