This was something we had to sit with for quite a while. I (Jazmyn) always dreamed of a small ceremony in the woods with a maximum of a handful of people. We both share the distain for things that feel "performative" and inauthentic. And we both have lost loved ones we always dreamed of being present on our big day. We know we don't owe anyone this explanation, but it is a wedding, and people ask you a lot of questions when you are getting married. So that being said, we don't know what it will quite look like, but we are planning something for ourselves. We are so excited to celebrate with you at the reception!
Semi-Formal. If you are anything like me (Jazmyn) you are thinking, what the heck does that mean... Let me do the honors of googling for you. Dos: Cocktail dress, midi dress, elevated maxi dress, sophisticated jump suit, or blouse with dress paints or skirt. Heels, dressy flats, or elegant sandals. Suits, dress shirt, sweater, dress pants, loafers, dress shoes. Don'ts: White dress (just saying), jeans, sneakers, t-shirts, athletic wear, anything overly casual or flashy.
Yes, bring all your little cherubs!
We will be inside! Send all your positive vibes for great summer weather though because the sunset on the water should be SPECTACULAR.
No, but one is in walking distance!
If they are an imaginary friend, yes. If they are a real life human, no. We are excited to celebrate with those close to our heart. Thank you for understanding!
Edmonds Waterfront Center is part of public beach front so parking is a little tricky. We apologize in advance, but hopefully you forgive us once you see the views. We encourage you to walk if you are staying at the Best Western. The 70 spaces on site are first come first serve. There is also street parking nearby at an additional city lot located Railroad and Dayton.
