Julian and Jazmin's story begins in the Fall of 2019. The first time Jazmin & Julian met was while house sitting and threw a small party. Jazmin was invited but had second thoughts on going since she didn’t know anyone that was going. Her best friend Ale convinced her to go for a little bit. Over that year, their friend group grew but they would rarely talk to one another. As they got to know each other more, Julian wanted to be more than just friends; but Jazmin was not ready for a serious relationship at that time. Julian got tired of waiting around for her and ended up entering into a relationship of his own in the spring of 2021, but that ended shortly after. Julian eventually left for Fresno State in the fall of 2021, while Jazmin was attending CSUB at the same time. Because of the distance, Jazmin was hesitant on taking the next step with Julian. Over the summer of 2022, Jazmin and Julian started getting closer. Taking trips. Dodger games. Cruises. And with that, feelings grew stronger for one another. While in Fresno, Julian invited Jazmin to a football game in September 2022. After a day of hanging out, Jazmin realized on her way home that she was ready for something more serious with Julian. A couple days after talking about being in a relationship with each other, Julian asked Jazmin, on September 19th, 2022, to be his girlfriend by surprising her with a proposal. Jazmin graduated in May of 2023 and Julian graduated in December of 2023. Julian ended up getting a new job at the beginning of 2024 and knew that he was ready to propose, right then and there. With only a week of preparation, he proposed on the beach in Malibu, CA. We are excited for this new chapter in our lives and cannot wait to celebrate our love with the most important people to us!
