We hoped things would be better by now, but the reality is that the pandemic still exists and we have to take measures to keep everyone safe. Our parents and some grandparents will be in attendance, so even if you’re young and healthy, we ask that you take the protocols seriously to protect our loved ones. Here are some of the precautions we will be taking for our big day: -The bride and groom will be getting tested the week of the wedding and it’d be a good idea for guests to get tested shortly before as well if you’re able. -Masks must be worn at all times except when eating and drinking. Masks should be worn during cocktail hour as well, except to temporarily remove when eating and drinking. -If you have any symptoms, however mild, please stay home. We will be livestreaming our ceremony, so no one will miss out! -Our caterers will be masked and gloved, and all plates and utensils will be disposable. -Hand sanitizer will be available. -We won’t be having an open dance floor. -Seats at the ceremony will be adequately spaced. -We will have a smaller number of people per table and will try to seat guests with people they have already been exposed to. -We will still have an open bar, but guests will still be expected to maintain social distance. -We want to hug you all, but we’ll be sticking to air hugs and air high fives. We’re so glad that we can still share our wedding day with you and we look forward to eating, drinking, and being merry in the safest way we can!
For those unable to attend our wedding, it will be livestreaming here at 5:30 EST on Saturday, September 19th. https://www.facebook.com/UniquelyHisPhotography/posts/3142462302518851
