Canal Street Ferry Terminal

Cost approximately $1.00 (stay on ferry when it docks in Algiers or you have to pay another dollar!) Runs every half hour Ride ferry across Mississippi River to Algiers. Ferry located at Canal Street and Mississippi River

Garden District

Nominal charge for Street Car Hop on a street car and ride it to the end. You will go through the historic Garden District. Tours also available for a fee. Check out Lafayette Cemetery #1 (free, closed in the evenings)

We had great conversation beofre the short films started then dipped out after about 4 films as we raised our eyebrows to each other. Jamie left Zeke for sleep after he walked her to her car while he lamented driving back to Destrehan.
