Question

Should I still RSVP if I am unable to attend?

Answer

Yes. While you will be truly missed, if you are unable to attend, we would be grateful if you could RSVP and let us know at the earliest opportunity so that we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all occur at the same venue, situated at the summit of Steamboat Mountain. To reach the venue, you must use the Gondola. The Gondola ride lasts approximately 9 minutes, so please be prepared to board at 5:00 PM. The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. The cocktail hour will also take place outside, while the dinner and reception will be held indoors.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. The dress code is semi-formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear suits & tie. No jeans, please. The ceremony is on the grass so wear shoes that wont sink in. It can get a little chilly at the top of the mountain when the sun goes down, so feel free to bring an extra layer if needed.

Question

Is there transportation?

Answer

If you're staying at the base of the mountain, the Gondola is a short walk. We are not providing transportation for the event so if you are staying in downtown Steamboat you will have to arrange transportation. Steamboat Springs has a free bus system. You can access the shuttle schedule here: https://www.steamboatsprings.net/876/Summer-Schedule-Routes

Question

Where can I park on the wedding day?

Answer

Guests will be able to park in the Gondola Square Parking Garage complimentary on Saturday, June 22. The garage is labeled as P1. Gondola Square Parking Garage Paid Parking: access code 9949 First, find a parking spot then go to the parking kiosk (there are 3 kiosks in the garage), enter your license plate number, find the name of the event in the product list (you may need to select option 5 to see additional products), then enter the access code. The access code will be valid for complimentary parking all day. There is only a 30 minute grace period after the camera scans your license plate upon entering the garage before a citation is issued. If you are parked outside of this time frame you will be subject to a parking ticket.

Question

Will there be food at the Weclome party?

Answer

Yes, we are providing BBQ food at the Brewery for all.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. Steamboat is a great area for kids of all ages, so if you do decide to bring them and need a sitter - check out this babysitting service here: https://www.steamboatbabysitting.com

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited on your invitation. If your wedding invitation is addressed to "and guest" you are allowed to bring a plus one.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! But do remember.. one drink at altitude is 2 drinks at sea level. The elevation at the venue is 9,080 ft

Question

Am I allowed to take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We encourage you to take as many pictures throughout the weekend and the day of the wedding, but we ask that during the ceremony you allow our photographer and videographer to capture this special moment. Please keep phones away and on silent. Thank you!

Question

I've never experience the mountain elevation before, how can I prepare?

Answer

The city of Steamboat is at 6,700 ft and the wedding will take place at 9,080. Please plan to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and remember alcohol will hit you harder up here!

For all the days along the way
