Things To Do

While you’re in Jamaica, take some time and experience the culture and enjoy the island. Here are a few things to do while in town.

The World Famous Dunn's River Falls & Park

Main Street, Ocho Rios, St. Ann Parish, Jamaica

This famous Jamaican waterfall is 600 feet long and 80 feet high. It’s also one of the rare travertine waterfalls, meaning that it pours directly into the sea. You can actually climb up this beautiful waterfall, although it’s slippery in parts. We recommend wearing water shoes and paying one of the many waterfall guides. For a small fee, they’ll help you up and also take any photos that you like.

Island Gully Falls aka The Blue Hole

Thatch Hill Road, Lodge, St. Ann Parish, Jamaica

This Jamaican hidden gem was formerly known as The Blue Hole, and is hidden away down a quiet road. The journey to these secret falls is definitely worth it. There’s an impressive cascading waterfall which you can dive into as well as a Tarzan style river swing. Island Gully Falls is open from 9 am to 5 pm every day.

Old Tavern Coffee Estate

B1, Portland Parish, Jamaica

This is one of the best coffee roasters in the word. They’re also the first single estate coffee in Jamaica. The estate is family owned and located at an altitude of 4,000 square feet. This cool climate allows the coffee beans plenty of time to mature. Take a guided tour to learn about the peaberry coffee beans used in this delicious coffee!

Bob Marley Museum

Nine Mile, St. Ann Parish, Jamaica

Fans of reggae music can visit his childhood home on a guided tour to Nine Mile, and see his final resting place, the Bob Marley Mausoleum. The air conditioned bus picks you up at your hotel and takes a very scenic ride through the mountains.

Cranbrook Zip Lining Canopy

Llandovery, St. Ann Parish, Jamaica

You can swing along, admiring the scenery, helped by the expert instructors. With traverses ranging from 105 to 660 feet, it will keep you busy for several hours.

Konoko Falls

Ocho Rios, St. Ann Parish, Jamaica

Another picturesque Jamaica attraction is Konoko Falls and Park. What makes this place so great is that you can climb all the way up the waterfall, with the help of a guide. Before climbing up the waterfall, enjoy the guided tour around the botanical gardens. They were once the home to the Taino Indian tribe and now feature a wide variety of our indigenous animals and birds. The park is open from 8 am to 4.30 pm daily.

Mystic Mountain Jamaica, Rainforest Adventures

Ocho Rios, St. Ann Parish, Jamaica

If you’ve seen the movie Cool Runnings, you’ll know all about the exploits of the Jamaican bobsleigh team at the 1988 Winter Olympics. Take a guided tour from Ocho Rios Pier to Mystic Mountain and you can get an adrenaline rush of your own.

Yaaman Adventure Park

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

This 18th century estate, previously known as Prospect Plantation, has some fun activities on offer such as horseback riding, Segway tours and ATV rides.

White River Beach

Boundbrook, Portland Parish, Jamaica

You can float through White River aboard a bamboo raft with a local guide. The tranquil and warm waters of this secluded river flow slowly enough for you to soak up the beautiful tropical atmosphere. Enjoy a coconut while you sail along to the music of your choice.
