Sarah P. Duke Gardens
This is where we went on our first date! It's one of our favorite places to go in Durham. It's a botanic garden with 5 miles of trails and pathways. Parking close can be difficult if it is a busy day, but definitely worth going.
Boxcar Bar + Arcade
Our favorite local bar that also has an arcade. Has a huge variety of mixed drinks along with classic and modern games. They have pizza and pretzels, and are on a strip that offers other restaurants. Kids are welcome during the day as long as they are accompanied by an adult!
Urban Axes - Axe Throwing
Tons of fun for all ages and abilities, we tend to bring people who visit us in NC here at least once!
Museum of Life and Science
Whether you are visiting with kids or on your own, we personally love the Museum of Life and Sciences. It's different every time you go, and there's so much to do that you can't do it all in one trip!
