Due to venue capacity restrictions, we are only able to accommodate the guests whose names are listed on the invitation. Although we want all our loved ones there to celebrate us, we do have to abide by these restrictions. Thank you for understanding!
If you are able to RSVP when you receive your invitation - that is great and very helpful! Our last day to RSVP is February 23rd, 2026. Our vendors require us to provide head counts by this date, and any unanswered RSVP's will be counted as a "No". Thank you for understanding!
We have no formal dress code but usual wedding attire applies. For the men, we are thinking nice slacks and a collared or button up shirt. Please avoid wearing jeans or golf shirts. For the women, please avoid wearing white, but we love the neutral tones, pastel colors, or floral options as the sun should (hopefully) be shining! Colors of the wedding are: browns, muted pinks, rustic orange, and sage green. If you have any questions, please reach out to Jaycie!
We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like and share with Ian and Jaycie!
Yes and no! As the sun will be shining (hopefully) the ceremony will be outside and the reception will be located inside, but there is no AC/heater... SO please make sure to dress appropriately.
When you enter Boone Hall Plantation there will be signs of where to park, and a gate guard that you will inform about attending the Forrester/Amhaus wedding. If you are driving yourself to the venue, please make sure to give yourself time to walk from the parking lot to the ceremony site! It will be located on the Front Lawn.
Arriving to the venue 30 minutes early is a great idea to be sure you're able to find the venue, get parking and settle in before it begins!
Under the "Where to Stay" tab you will find our hotel recommendations. Be sure to check out the "Places to Visit" tab for more details about fun places/activities to see in South Carolina.
We would appreciate if all photos and videos are not shared until the day after the wedding. Our hope is for everyone to be present and too busy enjoying the day to post anything! <3
We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises.
We are happy to answer any questions! Either text Ian or Jaycie directly, or email them at: theamhaus2026@gmail.com
