Taxis & Ride Apps: Bolt is widely available, reliable, and economical. This is likely your best bet to timely get around the island. Car Rentals: Available at the airport and around the island (just FYI: as a former British colony, Maltese still drive on the left-hand side of the road/steering wheel on the right side of the vehicle) Buses: Affordable and extensive, though can be slower to get place to place during peak times Boats & Ferries: A fun and scenic way to get around—regular ferry and water taxi services run between Sliema, Valletta, and other harbor destinations
