Roche Harbor and the Roche Harbor Resort are on the opposite end of the island (about a 15 minute drive) and is a gorgeous complex. There are shops, restaurants, beautiful gardens, and high-end yachts to marvel at.

Lime Kiln Point State Park
Lime Kiln Point is considered one of the best whale-watching spots on earth. The pods, which also include humpback and minke whales, pass through the area every April through September, with peak times depending on salmon runs. Visitors can see the action from a 1919-vintage lighthouse or from a nearby sea cliff.
Susie's Moped & Bicycle Rentals
Renting mopeds is a fun way to see the whole island! You can also rent bicycles and scooters.
Westcott Bay Shellfish Co.
A rare island experience, Westcott Bay Shellfish Co. is first and foremost a working farm. In addition this scenic gathering space, nestled between cultivated tidelands on the pristine waters of Westcott Bay, offers on-site picnic tables to shuck and slurp your own oysters and while enjoying a cold beverage.

San Juan Vineyard is the only operating winery producing estate-grown wines. Enjoy the beautiful tasting room or explore the vineyards and bask in the sun.
Maya's Legacy Whale Watching
Depending on the weather, we recommend taking the opportunity to take a whale watching tour. Watching the Orcas is a unique, fun opportunity. Peak season is considered the summer months of mid-June through early September--but you still frequently see great wildlife in April.
Pelindaba Lavender Farm
These world-famous lavender farms generally don't reach peak bloom until July. But they sometimes bloom as early as April.
