This is one of Jay and Lake's favorite places to catch a Red Wings game! Even during the off-season, their food is still delicious.
HopCat
If you're headed downtown, this HopCat location is a great place to stop for a bite to eat!
Zap Zone XL - Portage
Jay and Lake both absolutely love going to arcades together. We also like going here to play pool and mini golf! On the last Saturday of every month, this Zap Zone has an "unlimited night" for $25 a person.
Binder Park Zoo
This one is a bit of a drive from Kalamazoo, but it's absolutely worth it!
Escapology Escape Rooms Portage
Jay and Lake have done over half of the escape rooms here. We love solving puzzles together! We recommend booking in advance.
Kzoo Cat Cafe and Rescue
One of our favorite places to visit, especially when we want to decompress after finals. We recommend making an appointment in advance as their walk-in times and spaces are limited.
South Kalamazoo Mall
There are so many fun shops and experiences in downtown Kalamazoo. It's also fun to walk around and enjoy on a nice day!
Kalamazoo Candle Company (Downtown)
You can make your own candles here (or at the Portage location)! They also have amazing scents to buy.
Crafted Copper
Jay and Lake were recently introduced to duckpin bowling and we highly recommend it. It's a great activity for the whole family!
