We LOVE y’all and can’t wait to celebrate with you at our little Texas shindig!!

Our story can be summed up with 5 significant years and 2 specific dates that equate to TWENTY years of love & friendship...AND counting. TWO THOUSAND - we first met in the ATC facility at MCAS Yuma, AZ as young Marines. TWO THOUSAND SIX - we were DoD civilians, Snowman became my primary instructor throughout the control tower. TWO THOUSAND SEVEN - we transitioned across the airfield to the new tower and completed my training. He certified me on ground and local, taught me how to snowboard, and also sold me my very first house. That period of time and the years that followed working on the same crew grew our friendship into a cherished, lifelong one. Our career paths parted ways around 2013 but through social media, periodic texts, and a phone call here & there, we were able to maintain our friendship. It would be many years before we saw each other again. THANKFULLY Slackbo decided to throw in the towel and drop his second set of retirement papers, haha!! Unbeknownst to us, that action single-handedly put our lives on merging courses, intersecting once again in Yuma, reuniting for good this time (THANKS SLACKBO!!). As soon as we heard the news we started making plans for our trip to celebrate our dear friend and mentor Dave Slack. TWENTY NINETEEN - Snowman and I reconnected in Seattle while he was there for a week long training course...we finalized our Yuma trip details over lunch. That December we participated in several days of Yuma shenanigans for Slackbo’s retirement. Within a week of parting ways, I referred to Snowman as my boyfriend via text, held my breath, and waited for his response. He said “so I’m your boyfriend now?” I responded "DUH!" and that was all she wrote...TA-DAAAH Snowman became my Jay! TWENTY TWENTY - Jay and I celebrated NYE/1st date/1st kiss together in downtown Seattle. December 11, 2019 - we officially became a couple via text, LOL! February 13, 2020 - Jay proposed on a red dirt trail in the desert of Sedona, AZ.
