Walking distance from the hotel, you can go up to the top of the Bicentennial Tower and get a nice view of Erie!

Our go-to lunch spot in Erie - Gabriella gets the Michelangelo and Jay gets the Van Gogh!
Presque Isle State Park
Locals refer to it as "the Peninsula" - an absolutely gorgeous state park with more than ten beaches, kayaking, fishing, biking, and picnic areas. Nice for a drive, a quick beach walk, or, if you have some extra time, bike/kayak/fishing rentals.
Smugglers' Wharf
Within walking distance of the hotel - Gabriella was a waitress here during law school! Banging clam chowder and she crab soup, and the coconut shrimp is a crowd pleaser.

Erie Maritime Museum - Homeport of the U.S. Brig Niagara
Maritime museum and library within walking distance from the hotel - gorgeous location, and you can learn about how Erie won the War of 1812 and is the reason the U.S. is still on the map!
