We're getting married!

It all started with a Hinge match and a 2pm brunch at the Hell’s Kitchen Westville. We had a wonderful time and immediately hit it off, with shared interests in music, games, sports, and even movies, and we found that we are bonded by the one unshakeable, non-negotiable truth - Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the greatest Marvel film ever made. While Gabriella quietly battled a migraine and surgically removed the romaine from her salad, Jay was completely oblivious to both, totally unaware of everything except the fact that he absolutely did not want this date to end. He was pretty sure there was something special here . . . because while they may have split the bill, he kept the receipt. And four plus years later, he still has it, a small memento from their very first date. What followed was an initially long-distance romance that defied all odds, spanning the hour-long journeys between Jersey City and Manhattan before we finally moved in together. All the while, we’ve continued to build a life together packed with Broadway nights, dinners around New York, live concerts, all manner of sporting events, and all the chaos two cats can bring. So from that first brunch to adventures in Syracuse, Erie, Ithaca, Hawaii, Europe, many, many Disney World trips, and of course, New York and beyond, we’ve never stopped chasing the next adventure and look forward to sharing the journey with you.
