We found love in a hopeless place - we both essentially surrendered to the idea of ever getting married. The second we met on Jamie Tworkowski's Sunday Group, the rest was history. We talked every single day, all day. Jay + Emma + Sunday Group = immediate connection. Lightning in a bottle. When Jay went to Croatia with Ed (Jay's dad) in April, Jay kept saying to Ed: "Oh, I have to tell my friend, Emma!" or "I'm talking to Emma, sorry" - the weekend Jay stepped foot back in Newark International Airport, they knew they had to tell Em. So they did, and with some gentle bullying/encouragement from Jamie and Jay's sister, Mary,Jay did it and told Emma EVERYTHING! Emma already knew before Jay knew they were in love with Emma. We met at a random halfway point (Fredericksburg, Virginia) at an Airbnb and spent a weekend together. That weekend, we hard launched and Emma told Jay "I love you all the way". And the journey continued to blossom into such a beautiful relationship, now engagement, soon marriage!
