An iconic Seattle must! From flying fish, rows of colorful bouquets, to beautiful views of the Sound, you won't want to miss this spot.
When in Seattle, sushi is a must. This is our favorite sushi spot that has a killer happy hour menu.
One of our favorite breweries to kick up our feet after a morning at Pike Place Market (no kids allowed).
The famous Space Needle needs no introduction.
Mother of the Bride's Pick! A very impressive collection of glass art located next to the Space Needle.
Not the first Starbucks (look for that near Pike Place Market), but certainly the fanciest. Coffee lovers won't be disappointed with this stop.
For the oyster fans who would like to try some oysters fresh from the Puget Sound, this is a great spot to hit up.
A picture perfect Seattle skyline and, if you're lucky, a glimpse of the great Mt. Rainier towering behind the city.
A great place to rent kayaks or SUPs on Lake Union and watch the sea planes take off while admiring the house boats along the banks.
Watch the boats sail in and out of the sound on the Ballard locks. You can frequently spot Harbor Seals playing along the water here.
Another great seafood spot
The bride's favorite place for a walk and her first neighborhood in Seattle. The couple took a walk around this lake on (one of the many stops on) their first date!
A perfect place to take a walk on the beach to a lighthouse while taking in the Olympic mountains and boats on the sound.
For a shorter hike closer to the city, try Rattlesnake Ridge. There are unbelievable views from the top.
No need for a car to access great hikes near Seattle! Other trails that are accessible by shuttle are Little Si, Mount Teneriffe, Mailbox Peak, PooPoo Point. Click on the link below to find out more and check out www.wta.org for more information on these and other hikes.
Another one of our favorites (that also allows kids!)
A great place to grab a beer before the Indian wedding.
A cute island across the Sound from Seattle with small shops, restaurants, breweries, and bike rentals for a fun relaxing day. Drive, bike, or walk onto the ferry to access this island.
If you plan to stay for longer than a weekend, there are 3 amazing National Parks within driving distance of Seattle that are well worth a visit: Mr. Rainier NP, Olympic NP, and North Cascades NP. The bride has been to all 3 and is happy to provide recommendations of things to do.
