Where are you registered?

Answer

The months leading up to our wedding have been filled with generosity. From the engagement party, to the bridal festivities, and to our guests’ plane tickets, our friends and family have already contributed so much time, support, and energy. We are fortunate to have it all. With our combined households, we have all that we need. Should you feel compelled to contribute still, we would love for you to make a donation to the YMCA of Greenville. What's the dress code?

Answer

Looking like a 90-degree day so let's be practical here. Ladies: A long dress, dressy separates, or a cocktail dress. Strapless and strappy dresses are fine. Men: Suit and tie, any colors. Or tux. Okay to wear white before Memorial Day, we do that all the time down here. It’s a rooftop venue, 25% open air, and 75% covered, so temperatures will vary, but it’ll likely be on the warmer side, with a nice breeze.

Is there transportation to events?

Answer

Greenville has Uber and Lyft available for easy transportation, but if you stay at the Westin downtown, almost all events are walkable. The furthest event will be at White Duck Taco Shop / Birds Fly South Ale Project, which is 2 miles from the hotel, and we will have renal bikes for this. Next furthest is the Welcome Party at our house, just over a mile from downtown (uphill). All other events are <1/4 mile from the Westin.

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

Probably not (unless it’s really inexpensive). Greenville-Spartanburg airport (GSP) is 15 minutes from the Westin ($20 Uber), and Charlotte airport (CLT) is 90 minutes from the Westin ($100 Uber). Jay and I will be happy to help with airporting also!
