Best Man
Moises a.k.a Mois a.k.a Modizzy is Javier's younger brother and best friend. Being less than 2 years apart, Mois and Javier did everything together. They learned to ride their bikes, roller blade, swim, play basketball and...get in all sorts of trouble together. Javier would always be the brains of all their mischief and poor Mois would always follow his big brother's ideas and get the blame for them. As adults, Mois and Javier, as well as his other brothers--Jovanni, Danny and Anthony--would go out together to party. Almost every year, they would go out to Rosarito to celebrate Javier's birthday. Incidentally, both Moises and Javier met their future partners on a night out just two weeks apart from one another. They now get to cross some of life's major milestones--becoming a husband and father--just a few months apart from each other. Javier is honored to have Moises by his side as his best man.
Maid of Honor
Daisy and Maria have been friends their entire lives. They grew up living next door to each other, so Maria has had a best friend since "birth." They share the most amazing memories throughout their lives. A childhood memory they share is naming their teddy bears Tommy and Timmy (which they still have). Their mothers have been friends for over 30 years, and that friendship has shown them the value of having a true friend. As children, they discussed their hopes and dreams for their future, including conversations about marriage & children. They planned their lives not quite the same timeline they envisioned as kids, but they've achieved their dreams and always supported one another. Daisy has always been Maria's voice of reason and centers her when stressed, overwhelmed, etc. Daisy is one of the people that knows Maria best. When they hang out, Maria says, "I need my dose of Doctor Daisy." Daisy has been there from the first mention of Javier to now being her Maid of Honor for their wedding. Maria is honored to have Daisy be a part of their big day.
Groomsman
Jovanni a.k.a Geo a.k.a Geodizzy is Javier's youngest brother. Being 8 years younger than Javier, Geo mainly played with his two sisters Ashley and Lina as a kid. As Geo grew older, he was able to spend more time going out with his older brothers and grew closer to them. To get his younger brother more interested in college, Javier took him to his first college party to show him the fun side of college and began pushing him to pursue his interest in tech. Geo is now nearing completion of his degree in computer science. You can now regularly find both brothers hanging out online playing on Xbox talking about all things tech and having his older brother carry him through competitive matches--lol. Javier is proud to have his brother Geo by his side on this special occasion.
Bridesmaid
Fabiola and Maria met in college in 2009 through a mutual friend. They have been friends for over 13 years. Some of their fondest memories are having lunch at the CBU cafe with many of their other international friends. Fabiola introduced Maria to Brazilian customs, traditions, food, etc. Maria became the soccer friend that never played soccer but was always on the sidelines cheering Fabiola on. Fabiola has done the same for Maria throughout the years, not quite on the soccer sidelines but she's always been supportive. Fabiola and Maria share many memories, such as going to Vegas soccer tournaments, game nights, birthday celebrations, and much more. Maria is excited to have Fabiola there to continue making memories.
Groomsman
Rudy a.k.a Rudizzy a.k.a Pollo is Javier's cousin. As kids, Javier would always look forward to going over to his Tia Martha's house to play with his boy cousins Rudy, Andy and Jesse. Those days were always long and full of fun playing outside until they all would get in trouble get grounded for the rest of the night. Rudy was the youngest of his boy cousins and a few years younger, so it wasn't until little "Pollito" became big enough to demand to be called Rudy that the two cousins became close playing WoW. This is when Rudy became known as Rudizzy and Leeroy Jenkins. Javier is warmed to have Rudy as his groomsman on this special day.
Bridesmaid
Esmeralda is Maria's Favorite cousin (please don't get offended; she loves you all). Esmeralda lived in Northern California like most of Maria's family. Every family trip Maria made as a child she always looked forward to seeing Esmeralda. Some of Maria's fondest memories are spending the night at Esmeralda's house and man...the mischief they got into. Esmeralda later moved to Southern California after High School which made Maria so happy; Esmeralda was pursuing her dreams and ended up being not far from her cousin. It could be cheesy to say, but Esme and Maria are cousins by blood but friends by choice. They've lived through so many important milestones in each other's lives and as well as supporting each other when needed. Maria couldn't do this without her.
Groomsman
Javier met Ricardo in 7th grade, and is one of his two best friends that formed the 3 Musketeers. Ricardo and Javier, along with their friend Rudy would hang out all the time at school and after school playing video games and watching tv shows. For all of their high school years, they probably both spent more time at their friend Rudy's house than their own home. Some of Javier's fondest memories is pulling all-nighters playing Resident Evil, Mario Kart, and Final Fantasy. Javier is grateful to have Ricardo at his side during this big day.
Bridesmaid
Nathalie and Maria met in college in 2009. Nathalie was an international student at CBU from Brazil. She also contributed to the many Brazilian customs Maria knows. Maria describes Nathalie as one of the funniest people she knows. Over 13 years of friendship accompanied with tears of laughter and of joy. College wouldn't have been the same without Nathalie and their adventures with "little red". Some people disconnect after college but not Nathalie and Maria. Nathalie has been a part of Maria's greatest moments and unfortunate times showing what friendship is. For example, Nathalie bought baby Dennis her first book, which made Maria's teacher's heart very happy. Maria is overjoyed to have Nathalie be apart of such a special day.
Groomsman
Javier met Jonathan "Jonny" in 2018. Jonny's wife, Thelma is one of Maria's best friends and bridesmaid. Since they first met, Jonny's been a great friend, and both couples have gone out on multiple trips, hangouts, and celebrations. Some places include county fairs, Las Vegas, and downtown LA. One of Javier's fondest memories is going on a weekend trip to Vegas for Jonny's birthday. Javier appreciates how accepting Jonny was of him when they first met. Javier is also grateful to have met Jonny and have him as his groomsman on this special occasion.
Bridesmaid
Thelma and Maria met in 2006 in High School. They shared a P.E. class together, bonding on their dislike for the class. For example, they hated how they were obligated to participate when it was freezing outside. They shared many memories throughout high school. It could be difficult for people to stay friends after high school, some people change, have different interests, or make new friends. Not for Thelma and Maria who have always managed to stay friends. Throughout the years they have lived in different cities and spent months without seeing each other, it could be a year that could go by but when Maria and Thelma get together it is like no time has passed. When Javier came into Maria's life, Thelma and her husband Jonny always approved and were accepting of Javier. That's what means the most to Maria, the love they have for Javier. Maria is excited to have her "bestie" by her side.

Javier met Rudy in 7th grade through their friend Ricardo and is one of his two best friends that formed the 3 Musketeers. Rudy's home was like Javier and their friend Ricardo's second home. Every day all three would walk from school to Rudy's house to watch TV, play video games, or freeload off his high-speed dial-up connection--yes, we're that old. Javier is honored to have Rudy as his groomsman and at his side during this very special occasion.
Bridesmaid
Nicole and Maria met at CBU through a mutual friend; Nathalie. Nicole and Maria built their friendship through their competitiveness (not an exaggeration). Some of their fondest memories are from game nights. Maria says "our brains become one. When we're on the same team we always win and people accuse us of cheating". Everyone needs a friend like Nicole; she doesn't need a special occasion to brighten up your day. Nicole has been by Maria's side through life's ups and downs for the last 13 years. What Maria loves the most is Nicole's genuine love for Maria and Javier's relationship, not to mention how excited she is to welcome baby Natalia. Maria is honored to have Nicole as a bridesmaid. Nicole is the perfect person to share this big day with.
Groomsman
Javier met Samuel "Sammy" in 2018. Sammy's wife Ady is one of Maria's best friends and bridesmaid. Since they first met, Sammy welcomed Javier with open arms into his tight-knit group of friends which also includes Sebastian (another groomsman). The group of friends have gone on multiple weekend trips and celebrations, including San Diego, Las Vegas, Oceanside, Big Bear, Arrowhead, and multiple trips to Laughlin. One of Javier's fondest memories on their trips is taking pedal kayaks to cliff jump in Laughlin after Sammy's boat finally gave out after many years. Javier looks forward to many more memories with Sammy and the group of friends. Javier is grateful to have met Sammy and have him as his groomsman on this special occasion.
Bridesmaid
Ady and Maria met in June 2009, the summer before starting college at Cal Baptist University. They met through a mutual friend and hit it off from day one. Their friendship began when they found the many things they had in common. For example, birthdays. Maria and Ady are 8 days apart. They have had the privilege to celebrate so many birthdays together throughout the years, the first one turning 18. Ady quickly showed Maria how reliable and caring she is. Ady is the type of person that will go out of their way to make life beautiful for others. Maria describes Ady as wise, delightful, and bright. Ady and Maria share so many memories; can you imagine being friends since they were 17? Maria is excited to share another commonality with Ady; being a mom. Maria is appreciative of Ady's loyal friendship and couldn't imagine where she would be today without her friend who has given her heart so much joy.
Groomsman
Javier met Sebastian "Sebas" in 2018. Sebastian's wife Gigi is one of Maria's best friends and bridesmaid. Since they first met, Sebastian welcomed Javier to his tight-knit group of friends that have known each other since high school. This group of friends also includes Sammy. One of Javier's fondest memories on their trips is renting a 15-passenger van to drive to San Diego for Sebastian's bachelor party. Javier is grateful to have a friend like Sebastian and this big group of friends. The group has a new "kid" member Natalia. Both Maria and Javier are excited to see their daughter grow up alongside baby Sam and baby Sebastian.
Bridesmaid
Giselle and Maria met through a group of friends back in 2014. They right away clicked while bonding on so many similarities, from their shared love for The Weeknd to their favorite alcoholic drink. The first time Maria and Giselle officially met was just a few feet from where Javier and Maria met in downtown Pomona. Little did they know their friendship would blossom into what it is now. Throughout the years, Giselle and Maria's friendship became stronger sharing the most memorable times. Maria describes Giselle as loyal, honest, and loving. One of Maria's favorite memories is hitting the gym working out with Giselle and talking for hours in the gym parking lot. They share so many other memories, from Vegas to Laughlin trips, to just hanging out and being there for one another. Maria truly values Giselle's friendship, her honesty and love truly shows. Maria is very happy to have Giselle be a bridesmaid and continue to create and share memories. Especially now as Maria is a mom, another life milestone she gets to share with Gigi.
