Arizona has great weather this time of year, so it's the best time to get out and explore what the Valley has to offer. We'd recommend getting outdoors, but if that's not in the cards, there's still plenty to do. Scottsdale is centrally located, a 30 minute drive from most places in the Valley. Here's some of our top recommendations of things to do.
Hiking

There are tons of great hikes all over the valley, check google for what might be closest to you.

Golfing

Golfing

Arizona is known for it's plentiful golf courses. There are a lot of options around the valley, and most are fairly close to the hotel and venue. If you can afford a few extra days, the weather this time of year makes for some great rounds.

Old Town Scottsdale has lots of small businesses and restaurants that have a lot to offer. With great walkability, you could spend a whole day just walking, shopping, and dining. Also close to Fashion Square, which has many of the high end department stores to browse.

This is a great way to kill at least a few hours if you're a big fan of music. Check out what live shows they may have to offer, as well as some of the historic instruments they may be housing. Also some fun hands on learning labs for any age.

Horses are a historic part of Arizona's history, and this company offers a glimpse into what the wild west might have been like. You can rent some horses and hit the trails, exploring more of Arizona's natural beauty.

This is one of the classic recommendations for people visiting from out of town. The restaurant features great Mexican food in a unique atmosphere. It's a classic Cave Creek staple.

Known for it's great views and tranquil environment, Sedona is another escape from the valley, with a fun drive out that offers lower temperatures, higher elevations, and lots of great hikes.

Grand Canyon

If you're feeling extra adventurous, and have enough time to get out of the valley, the Grand Canyon is a few hours away, but a definite bucket list opportunity.
