Can I RSVP before I receive an invite?

Answer

Yes. If you have officially been invited to the wedding and reception, your name is in the RSVP database. You can type in your name and RSVP on the website. There is also the option to RSVP to Jatika's bridal shower (The Single Finale) if you are wishing to attend.

Are there hotel accommodations?

Answer

Yes. A block of rooms have been reserved at Home 2 Suites in Merrillville. Please contact Jatika personally. There are individual confirmations for rooms if you are needing to book a room for the Stewart Wedding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

NO. If you have not talked to Stephen or Jatika personally about bringing a plus one, please DO NOT ASSUME that a plus one is granted to you. Also, on your RSVP you will see if a plus one has been listed for you.

What time does the wedding start?

Answer

The #EleventhHeaven wedding starts promptly at 4pm on Sunday 11/11/18. The doors will shut at 3:45. This will be strictly enforced.

Is there a cocktail hour before the reception?

Answer

YES! Stephen and Jatika want their guests to have a great time and be ready to party for the reception. The cocktail hour is from 5pm-6:15, immediately following the ceremony. There will only be refreshments/libations at the cocktail hour.

What is the attire?

Answer

The attire for the #EleventhHeaven #StevieJDay wedding and reception is formal. There's nothing like stepping out looking your best and dressing up every now and then. The couple asks that guests wear formal attire.

What does the weekend entail?

Answer

Saturday, November 10, is the "Single Finale" Bridal Shower for Jatika Expose. You can also RSVP for this as well on the website. The wedding party will be hanging out Saturday night. If you will be in town, please feel free to contact both Jatika and Stephen if you wish to see them or join the festivities. Sunday, November 11, the wedding and reception takes place at Aberdeen Manor in Valparaiso.

Why is the wedding in Valparaiso?

Answer

It was Stephen's and Jatika's wish to have a venue exclusively to themselves and not share space with other weddings. They also wanted a more intimate space so that they could enjoy their day with their closest family and friends. Although they live in Chicago, it was more practical to bring the wedding home to Indiana for both Stephen's and Jatika's families. The couple hopes that all who attend will have a great time. The ceremony will take place in the more intimate chapel on the same property where the ballroom is located. No other wedding will be at Aberdeen Manor, as it is designed to only host one wedding at a time. Perfect for couples wanting a more intimate and controlled environment. Stephen and Jatika did not want people to have to travel to two different locations. Eat, drink and party with them in one location.

Is there an open bar or cash bar?

YES! OPEN BAR! Stephen and Jatika have provided an open bar for their guests for 4 hours during the reception. Be sure to get your drinks before the bar closes. The bar includes house liquor (rum, vodka, gin, whiskey, wine, beer and regular soft drinks)

What gift(s) does Stephen and Jatika prefer?

Answer

Stephen and Jatika would prefer monetary blessings of any amount. They'd also prefer the experiences under their registry page. Stephen and Jatika look forward to enjoying their honeymoon and their first year as newlyweds.

Can I bring my child?

Answer

NO! #EleventhHeaven is an ADULT ONLY wedding. Unless your child is in the wedding, there will be no children allowed. Stephen and Jatika thank you for understanding.
