Stephen and Jatika didn't meet how they could've met if that makes sense. They went to the same university for 4 years. Jatika knew Stephen's sister Priscilla, but never realized she had a brother. They graduated and through the usual millennial perusing of social media, both of their names and profile pictures kept appearing in people they should know. According to the both of them, their names and profiles appeared across all avenues of social media and they had the same mutual friends. They ran in the same intermediate circles and had no idea. It was only a matter of time before one, or both of them decided to connect with one another. In proper fashion, Stephen made the first move and contacted Jatika. After weeks of dating and spending their first holiday (Thanksgiving) together, they'd made it official that being in a relationship with each other was a priority. Stephen initially asked Jatika out formally on 11/11/16, but they both had to reschedule. So they went out on 11/12/16. Their first date lasted about 8 hours. They got to know each other over wine, playing pool and chatting for hours. Surprisingly on their first date, people asked them how long they have been married. They looked at each other in amazement because they were indeed on their first date. Throughout their date, they sat and talked for hours and were very transparent about their past. They discussed their hopes and expectations in dating, and what they wanted in a future relationship. Since then, Stephen and Jatika have been inseparable. They have unbelievable faith in God and love. They love to go to church, express kindness to others and are committed to being the best versions of themselves daily. They are each other's biggest supporters.
