To say we eat at the Crab House a lot is an understatement. Its nothing fancy, but if you want basket of crabs or anything fishy, you'll find it here. Its just outside of Cape May in Wildwood Crest. We went here on our first visit to Cape May together and have been back many, many times. We love it!
We love tacos. We know YOU love tacos! Let's say your hungry but don't want a big sit-down meal but you still want something amazing. This is it! All kinds of tacos...classic beef, shrimp, pulled pork, crab, fajita chicken... we've tried them all!
Its hard to believe you're at the beach when you visit Beach Plum Farm. Grab a farm-to-table lunch and a bottle of wine on-site and relax on a picnic table. They have a cute shop when you can grab some unique items. (We always come home with stuff!) You can walk the trails on their property and enjoy nature for a bit.
Who doesn't love pancakes?! Grabbing breakfast in Cape May can sometimes be a challenge. There's frequently a wait as most people go to Uncle Bill's or the Mad Batter (another favorite). But, we found this gem just off the main area so while it definitely gets a crowd, its not nearly as crowded as some other spots. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
You can stroll through the heart of Cape May and hit many of the boutique shops and restaurants found at the Washington Street Mall. Grab some ice cream or a coffee. Find a few gifts and souvenirs to take home. Grab a bench and just people watch for a bit. Its a nice afternoon or evening.
Want a great raw bar....clams, oysters on the half shell, full seafood menu and even something for those a bit more conservative... all with an AMAZING waterfront view? Its all here. Grab lunch on the schooner boat, dine inside at the restaurant or grab something at the outside. We love it here! Have a cocktail, beer or glass of wine at one of the best known spots in Cape May. Be sure to stop by on your way out of Cape May for some take home seafood from the fish market!
