Things To Do

We chose Cape May because its one of our favorite places to visit. Some of our favorite spots are listed below. But, we encourage you to explore and discover some hidden gems that you'll tell us about. We hope you have a fantastic weekend in Cape May!
The Crab House at Two Mile Landing

The Crab House at Two Mile Landing

1 Fish Dock Road, Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260
, (609) 522-1341

To say we eat at the Crab House a lot is an understatement. Its nothing fancy, but if you want basket of crabs or anything fishy, you'll find it here. Its just outside of Cape May in Wildwood Crest. We went here on our first visit to Cape May together and have been back many, many times. We love it!

Key West Tacos

Key West Tacos

479 West Perry Street, Cape May, NJ 08204
, (609) 898-8226

We love tacos. We know YOU love tacos! Let's say your hungry but don't want a big sit-down meal but you still want something amazing. This is it! All kinds of tacos...classic beef, shrimp, pulled pork, crab, fajita chicken... we've tried them all!

Cape May Brewing Co. Tasting Room & Brewtique

Cape May Brewing Co. Tasting Room & Brewtique

1288 Hornet Road, Rio Grande, NJ 08204

Always a great place for a beer. We love their outdoor patio!

Tacos Caballito Tequileria

Tacos Caballito Tequileria

429 Beach Avenue, Cape May, NJ 08204

You guessed it... more tacos! This place is located directly across the street from the beach and a great place to grab lunch. We recommend grabbing a Jalapeño Margarita or a Tecate with those tacos!

The Mad Batter Restaurant & Bar

The Mad Batter Restaurant & Bar

19 Jackson Street, Cape May, NJ 08204
, (609) 884-5970

One of the more famous restaurants in Cape May. There's always a wait but its well worth it. We challenge you to give the Manmosa try.

Beach Plum Farm

Beach Plum Farm

140 Stevens Street, West Cape May, NJ 08204
, (609) 602-0128

Its hard to believe you're at the beach when you visit Beach Plum Farm. Grab a farm-to-table lunch and a bottle of wine on-site and relax on a picnic table. They have a cute shop when you can grab some unique items. (We always come home with stuff!) You can walk the trails on their property and enjoy nature for a bit.

Dock Mike's Pancake House Inc

Dock Mike's Pancake House Inc

110 North Broadway, Cape May, NJ 08204
, (609) 884-2855

Who doesn't love pancakes?! Grabbing breakfast in Cape May can sometimes be a challenge. There's frequently a wait as most people go to Uncle Bill's or the Mad Batter (another favorite). But, we found this gem just off the main area so while it definitely gets a crowd, its not nearly as crowded as some other spots. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Washington Street Mall

Washington Street Mall

401 Washington Street, Cape May, NJ 08204
, (609) 884-0555

You can stroll through the heart of Cape May and hit many of the boutique shops and restaurants found at the Washington Street Mall. Grab some ice cream or a coffee. Find a few gifts and souvenirs to take home. Grab a bench and just people watch for a bit. Its a nice afternoon or evening.

Harry's Ocean Bar & Grille

Harry's Ocean Bar & Grille

1025 Beach Avenue, Cape May, NJ 08204
, (609) 884-2779

We highly suggest heading to Harry's Ocean Bar and Grill and grabbing lunch or a cocktail on the rooftop bar. You can't beat the ocean view. You may find us here several times on wedding weekend!

Cape May Lighthouse

Cape May Lighthouse

215 Light House Avenue, Cape May, NJ 08204
, (609) 224-6066

Watch the sunset in North Cape May out near the Cape May Lighthouse. Nothing beats the views at sunset time. You can climb it if you'd like, check out the visitors center or visit the shops in the area.

The Lobster House

The Lobster House

906 Schellengers Landing Road, Cape May, NJ 08204
, (609) 884-8296

Want a great raw bar....clams, oysters on the half shell, full seafood menu and even something for those a bit more conservative... all with an AMAZING waterfront view? Its all here. Grab lunch on the schooner boat, dine inside at the restaurant or grab something at the outside. We love it here! Have a cocktail, beer or glass of wine at one of the best known spots in Cape May. Be sure to stop by on your way out of Cape May for some take home seafood from the fish market!
