Great question. Glad you asked! We have shuttle service set up from three hotels in Cape May. You can grab a shuttle at: 1. ICONA Cape May 2. The Inn of Cape May 3. Marquis de Lafayette Shuttles will be leaving at 5:00 PM. There are 4 or 5 shuttles from Mike's Affordable Shuttle that will likely make at least two roundtrips. However, each shuttle only seats 13 so don't wait too long or you'll be stuck finding an alternate ride. We'll also provide return service to the same hotels starting around 9:30 PM (for the party poopers) and going until we shut the lights off around 11:00 PM.
Most places in southern New Jersey no longer require you to wear a mask if you are vaccinated. However, we want to respect everyone's comfort level during this time. We're so happy to say that many of our friends and family members planning to come have already been vaccinated. The plan for the evening is that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors with the reception inside. The inside reception area is very large with plenty of space to socially distance as much as you'd like. We understand and respect your choice to wear a mask as you see fit. We really just want to have you with us on our special day and we ask that you do whatever makes you most comfortable.
Don't forget that Cape May beaches require beach tags. They can usually be purchased right as you walk on the beach. You'll need cash though, so be prepared. If you plan on staying a few days, consider getting a weekend pass. It will likely save you a few bucks!
Honestly, not great. Cape May is a walkable town though. If you need to drive anywhere, you'll likely have to grab metered parking. We suggest downloading the Park Mobile or Meter Up app. Set everything up ahead of time and it will be much easier. You won't need to run back to put more money in the meter. You can do it right from your phone.
