FAQs

Question

What are your plans after the wedding?

Answer

After our honeymoon, we will be moving to Philadelphia! Jason is starting business school at Wharton. We'll be taking only minimum essentials (that fit in our four suitcases) with us, so please read more below about how you can help make our move easier by using our registry!

Question

If you're moving to Philadelphia, how will you get all your wedding gifts there?

Answer

We chose to register on Zola because it allows us to choose where and when gifts are delivered. It makes our move a lot easier because we can have your gifts shipped straight to our new home when we arrive!

Question

What if an item on the Zola registry has a better price elsewhere?

Answer

Great! We support you saving money. Zola will price match, so just email support@zola.com with your inquiry.

Question

What are some good gifts to give if we don't plan to purchase on Zola?

Answer

Gift cards are a great option because they are lightweight and easy to pack! You can also contribute to a group gift (listed on the registry page) if you're not sure what to get.

Question

What is your shipping address in Philadelphia?

Answer

While we've signed a lease on an apartment in Philadelphia, we are not its current residents yet. As such, if you ship a gift, it probably won't make it to us. If you still really want to ship a gift directly to Philadelphia, please contact us directly and we can try to work something out.

Question

Why are you getting married in a Mormon temple?

Answer

As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we have chosen to be married in what we believe to be one of the holiest places on earth: a temple, which serves as the house of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When a marriage between two faithful individuals is performed in a Mormon temple, by restored God-given priesthood authority, the family that is formed can be together forever, or sealed beyond the grave. For more information about temples and eternal families, please reach out to Jason or Serene, or visit www.mormon.org/values/family

Question

What's the wedding dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal (for both the wedding dinner and reception).

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

To the wedding dinner, no (must be at least 12 years old). To the wedding reception, sure! (But we want you to also enjoy your time at our wedding.)

For all the days along the way
