What is the dress code?

Answer

Beachy Semi-formal— polished, comfortable, and sand-friendly. Shoes optional. Light layers suggested for the ocean breeze.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average high temperature in Pensacola on July 10 is 89F. There will be a cooling station available with ice-cold bottles of water. The average low is 76F.

What are the bridal colors?

Hunter green and ivory.

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! If we accounted for your children in the guest count, it will be reflected on the RSVP page under your family’s name.

Is it okay if I capture photos or videos using my phone or other devices?

Answer

We would like to share our special day in our own time. We kindly ask that you please refrain from posting photos or videos on social media.

Will there be a reception?

There will be a catered picnic dinner and fellowship following the ceremony; picnic tables provided.

Where will the happy couple go for their honeymoon?

Answer

Jason and Sarah would love to fellowship with family and friends who are visiting Pensacola on July 11 (see “Schedule” tab for more info), so they will be taking their honeymoon at a later date.

Is it best to book lodging at Navarre Beach, Pensacola Beach, Gulf Breeze or Downtown Pensacola?

It’s personal preference. Approximate distance from the wedding venue (Opal Beach): Navarre Beach = 2 miles Navarre = 5 miles Pensacola Beach = 12 miles Gulf Breeze = 15 miles Downtown Pensacola = 21 miles Pensacola airport = 25 miles *please see “Schedule” tab for more information about Saturday and Sunday, where the Bride & Groom will be available to fellowship with guests (location TBD but likely in Gulf Breeze or near downtown Pensacola).

What are some of the Bride & Groom’s favorite things to do as a couple?

-Eat at restaurants with patios (bonus points if it’s overlooking water) -Attend baseball games (Blue Wahoos Stadium, here we come!) -Play softball, baseball, and golf (Jason) while eating snacks and being a cheerleader (Sarah) -Sarah, run over curbs; Jason, sigh and shake his head thinking, “not again…”
