We’re getting married! (finally)

We both worked at the St. Louis Dream Center in 2013. Sarah had been there for two years as a student-intern when Jason arrived to serve at the Genesis Men’s Home. He was placed in charge of the homeless Street Ministry, and Sarah was an approved driver on the Ministry’s insurance; she would help pickup people from downtown STL and transport them to the Dream Center for a shower, food, clothing, the Word, etc. We went our separate ways for a few years, but reconnected in 2025. - HOW IT STARTED BACK IN 2013 - JASON’S VERSION: "I thought she was way too young for me but had pretty legs." (*Sarah is rolling her eyes as she transcribes this*) SARAH’S VERSION: "I developed a huge crush on Jason as I observed how respectful he was toward all people. I looked extremely young for my age, but I knew my actual age wasn’t too young to be a possible love interest. (I was 27, but Jason thought I was 18!) Somehow, I had to figure out a way to capture his attention... Typically 2-3 vans would be used to transport people from downtown back to the DC. Meaning, 2-3 drivers with 2-3 co-pilots. I was always willing to volunteer as a driver and I always made sure I was in the van Jason was co-piloting… Turns out my strategy paid off. ;)"
