Rachel and Jason met one sunny day while enjoying a boating trip with mutual friends on Lake Monroe. We instantly noticed the other which sparked immediate interest. A couple months later, we finally went on our first date! After enjoying a delicious brunch, we once again headed out to Lake Monroe to rent a jet ski for the afternoon. Rachel enjoyed zipping all over the lake while Jason held on for dear life! We quickly realized how much we enjoyed spending time together and became inseparable. We spent time hiking, white water rafting, scuba diving, kayaking, bartending together, meeting each others families, enjoying holidays, and going on vacations while learning more about each other and growing together! Throughout the past few years, we've only grown closer. We finally made the decision to move-in together followed by one of our best decisions yet-to get our dog, Harper. Our (and her) favorite activity is to walk down to the creek, let her off the leash, and watch her run through the water as fast as she can! This past summer, we migrated north to Zionsville. While we love Bloomington and always will, we couldn't be more excited to be closer to friends and family. It felt like a new start after a hard year of isolation due to COVID. Under the guise of a birthday celebration, we arrived at Trader's Point Creamery with both our parents. We decided to take pictures out on the dock by the pond when Jason got down on one knee and asked Rachel to marry him. An amazing addition to new beginnings! We met, fell in love, and got engaged on the water-now it's time to get married on it, surrounded by only our closest friends and family. We can't wait for you to join us in this celebration!
