For guests visiting Mexico for the first time, we wanted to share a few helpful tips to keep your stomach comfortable during your stay. Changes in water, climate, and food can sometimes affect digestion, especially in coastal areas. A few simple precautions can make a big difference: Water & Drinks • Drink only bottled or purified water • Avoid ice unless you are sure it is made from purified water • Use bottled water when brushing your teeth if you have a sensitive stomach Food Tips • Eat freshly cooked food and avoid food that has been sitting out for a long time • Be mindful with raw vegetables, unpeeled fruits, and street food (especially in the first days) • Introduce spicy or very rich foods gradually What to Bring With You We recommend having a small travel stomach kit, including: • Probiotics (start a few days before arrival if possible) • Activated charcoal or digestive support tablets • Anti-diarrheal medication (just in case) • Electrolytes or rehydration salts
