The Wedding Website of Jason McKinney and Polina Fedorova
Question

What is the best way to get to Sayulita?

Answer

Fly to Puerto Vallarta Airport (PVR) then take a taxi or shuttle directly to our beautiful destination. The drive from the airport takes around 45 minutes.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving the day before the wedding to ensure you're well-rested and prepared for our special day.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our wedding celebration will take place at the beautiful Flor de la Playa complex, where we'll exchange our vows and celebrate our love with family and friends.

Question

Are there any events before or after the wedding (welcome dinner, brunch, etc.)?

Answer

Yes! We're hosting a post-wedding gathering the day after our celebration. Be sure to pack your swimsuit 😏

Question

Is it safe to drink the water?

Answer

Stick to bottled or filtered water. Most restaurants use purified water and ice, but avoid drinking tap water directly.

Question

Do I need travel insurance or vaccinations?

Answer

No special vaccines are required for Mexico. Travel insurance is always a good idea, especially if you’re checking luggage or booking excursions.

Question

Do I need pesos, or can I use USD?

Answer

Both are accepted, but pesos are better for small shops and taxis. There are ATMs in town for easy withdrawals.

Question

Is Sayulita safe?

Answer

Yes, Sayulita is a friendly, relaxed surf town. Just use common sense like anywhere — keep valuables safe and don’t walk alone late at night.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a relaxed beach celebration. We kindly ask you to avoid white and black outfits. Aside from that, wear something that feels comfortable and reflects the spirit of Mexico — light fabrics, beach-appropriate styles, and colorful or natural tones.
