Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Neda Jahanbani and Jason Stewart
Welcome to Orange County, California, where Neda grew up and where Jason visited before he applied to USC for law school, sight unseen. There's plenty to see here, as we are one hour away from Los Angeles and an hour away from San Diego. We'll list out a few of our favorite spots, that are easy to access, but if you want to come early and go to our many theme parks (including Disneyland or Universal Studios), we can also give suggestions for those!
Top of the World

Top of the World

West Ridge, Laguna Beach, CA 92651

One of the best hiking spots in Orange County, with great views of the water and Laguna Beach.

Bear Flag Fish Co.

Bear Flag Fish Co.

7972 East Pacific Coast Highway, Newport Beach, CA 92657

Mutually our absolute favorite casual restaurant, and what we crave most when we're in New York. There are many locations in Orange County, but this is the one we frequent.

Balboa Peninsula

Balboa Peninsula

Newport Beach, CA

Our favorite place to walk around after dinner. If you have kids, they have the Balboa Fun Zone. If you've seen Arrested Development, get yourself a Balboa Bar or a chocolate-dipped frozen banana. They have a ferry that goes back and forth between Balboa Island and the Balboa Peninsula. Also, they have Duffy boats and paddleboards for rent if you want to go out on the water! Check out Balboa Lily's for a good breakfast on the patio or Avilla El Ranchito for some Mexican food!

Irvine Spectrum Center

Irvine Spectrum Center

Irvine, CA 92618

We do malls very well in Orange County. The Spectrum is located directly across the street from the wedding hotel block. The restaurant Javier's has a location here and is absolutely one of our favorite restaurants of all time.

Fashion Island

Fashion Island

401 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, CA 92660

Ditto on the whole shopping thing.

The Beachcomber Cafe

The Beachcomber Cafe

Los Trancos, Newport Beach, CA 92657

The Beachcomber is a restaurant on the beach. We like to go early in the morning and wait out the lines by walking along the water. They have massive portions food-wise, but we just like to order some coffees and beignets (the best) and enjoy the views. The address above is for the paid parking lot across the street. You can either take the Beachcomber shuttle down for a small fee or walk under the tunnel and get down to the beach for free. Once you're there, there are lots of little cottages that are adorable. The Beachcomber itself has a bar called the Bootlegger, where you can grab a drink on the sand.

Laguna Beach Free Trolley

Laguna Beach Free Trolley

Very cute free trolley that does trips ~ every 30 minutes! Click on the website to see the schedule and the locations it runs to and from.
