FAQs

The Wedding Website of Neda Jahanbani and Jason Stewart
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding dress code is Summer Formal, black tie optional. This means floor-length gowns for women and suits (or tuxes) for men. Go bold with color and patterns! No denim or white, please. For ladies, there is no grass at the venue, so feel free to wear stilettos if that's your preference. You should look in the mirror and think to yourself: "Damn, I look so amazing. Am I going to upstage the bride?" You won't, don't worry. But you should definitely think about it. The bridesmaids will be in espresso brown.

Question

Where am I staying for the wedding?

Answer

Hotel blocks have been established at the Irvine Spectrum Marriott. You can check under the 'Travel' tab for more information. If this is not a suitable option for you, there are many lovely Air Bnbs in the area.

Question

What about weather conditions?

Answer

This will be an outdoor wedding. Since our wedding is in the middle of August, it will get very warm. We will be taking precautions to make sure it will be as comfortable as possible. It is very unlikely that it will rain; however, there is an indoor space at the venue just in case!

Question

Are my kids/friends/cousins/tinder dates invited?

Answer

We will be sending invitations by mail to all invited members of your household at your stated address. We have done our best to include everyone, but keep in mind this is a large wedding of about 250, and we will not be able to accommodate everyone. Please do not ask for a plus one.

Question

Is this going to be an American wedding?

Answer

We will have both an American part of the ceremony and a Persian portion of the ceremony called the "aghd." Information about what is happening will be provided on the day of. We're excited to share little pieces of Persian and midwestern culture with everyone!

Question

Answer

Please give us notice if you plan to drive to the event so that we can coordinate with our valet. Our suggestion is that you get an Uber!
