We met on a cool evening in June, the night before the first day of Jason's beginning guide school. Jason had just arrived and was getting to know some of the other beginning guide schoolers. Maria was in the All-Outdoors kitchen simultaneously chatting with friends and brushing her teeth. They introduced themselves. Maria was taken with Jason's smile and remembered his name. What Jason remembered most was how vigorously Maria was brushing her teeth. Thus began an exciting adventure.
