In August of 2011 Lyndsi moved from Michigan, bringing her glittery princess self to Tennessee. Jason had already been in Tennessee from the age of 6 and was an established cowboy at this point. On September 6 Lyndsi and Jason both auditioned for a play at Townsend Auditorium. They were cast as characters that were in love. A love that would not end in happily ever after no matter how much the two characters wanted it. Life happened and Jason and Lyndsi stayed friends, they caught up every year or so. Until 3 years ago Lyndsi accidentally texted him thinking he was someone else (work related message). They both were having bad days and decided to meet for coffee. Jason playfully dubbed the duo the "Distraction Dudes", due to various situations the two were facing in their own personal lives. The two kept each other sane and grounded during some tough times. Fast forward two years of coffee and tellico friend dates, Jason asked Lyndsi to come with him to a viewing for a film he had been in. Lyndsi couldn't say yes quick enough. A fact that Jason loves to remind her of often. After the show Lyndsi blurt in perfect awkward fashion in a way that only she could, that she'd had a crush on him way back when they had originally met. Fast forward a few months and for the first time both were single, turns out Jason had a crush too. The two started officially dating in March 2024. Jason and Lyndsi often ventured out to their mountains, stealing away for a weekend at a time. Dollywood, mountain roads, woodstoked fireplaces, cozy cabins and avoiding crowds became comfortably exciting. Less than a year after their first official date, Friday December 20, 2024 to be exact, the couple were back in the Smokey Mountains. Jason proposed, Lyndsi said yes, and the rest is happily ever after. We hope you will join us to see the Cowboy seal this chapter of their story with a wedding kiss, March 8, 2025.
