I guess you could say we are one of those modern love stories. It all started with a nervous icebreaker sent on Match.com. A shared love of baseball started a conversation that soon led to our first date at De Nada Cantina on Austin’s East Side. Somehow, despite oversharing about some nerdy hobbies, Jason secured a second date! It was soon apparent to both of us that this was something special, and we spent the next several months spending time together exploring new restaurants and listening to live music around Austin.

April 4th is already such an incredibly special day in Lyndsey's life, and this year's would prove even more special. On the way to celebrate the day doing yoga with friends at Moody Amphitheater, Jason fumbled with a ring in his pocket as they walked across a bridge overlooking the Texas Capitol. Overcome with emotion on this special day, and with visions of a long life together on his mind, Jason dropped to a knee, and asked Lyndsey to be his wife. We truly are #theluckiest.
