Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Johanna

Matron of Honor

Johanna and Lauren met (like a few other bridesmaids) in the Interior Design program at MSU. They were roommates throughout their Junior and Senior years. During that time Johanna brought Lauren a home-like comfort when she needed it most. They bonded over their love for art, red wine, home DIY projects that turned into all-nighters, and their walks through East Lansing. To this day, Jo is the one Lauren calls when she needs a voice of reason or when she just needs to feel understood.

Cody

Best Man

Jason and Cody met as high school freshmen, and have become best friends ever since. Cody has always been by Jason's side and made him laugh throughout his whole life knowing him. His motivation and determination have encouraged Jason to explore a ton of avenues in life that he would not have even considered before. Cody is one of the funniest people Jason knows, and is a smooth talker, so watch out!

Lilly

Maid of Honor

Lilly and Lauren first met at the dance studio they both grew up at. They spent countless hours there every week for most of their youth. Lilly quickly became the little sister Lauren always wanted. She's the best dance partner and was always down for all Lauren's photography ideas. She never failed to prank Lauren when she inevitably fell asleep first at their sleepovers and never failed to make her laugh when she didn't know she needed it most. As sisters do, they have stuck by each other throughout all the moves, changes in life, and growth.

Austin

Groomsman

Austin and Jason met in school and their relationship transformed into what felt like an adoption into Austin's family. Jason would go over to his house everyday, and they would do something different each weekend. A lot of Jason's favorite memories always include Austin - exploring abandoned buildings, streaking, and Omegle were part of a casual weekend. Austin has also always been that friend that will listen and care for you when you need it.

Amanda

Bridesmaid

Amanda and Lauren officially became friends (or so Lauren claims) the night of their Sophomore Year Homecoming dance. They were both celebrating the night with a group of girls and Amanda and Lauren naturally gravitated towards each other. Their friendship has survived the years while staying afloat on sunburns, hilarious stories, conversations about poop, and many many vacations. Amanda never fails to keep it real and make you laugh at the same time.

Lorenzo

Groomsman

Lorenzo and Jason became random roommates in college and stuck with each other for the following 4 years. Lorenzo quickly became the closest friend Jason made in college, and in life. The problem with Lorenzo is that he is so cute, and Jason just always felt the need to make him smile. Whether it was lighting fireworks off inside our apartment, or getting Jager stains on Jason's senior project Lorenzo was always by his side.

Courtney

Bridesmaid

Courtney and Lauren crossed paths in the MSU interior design program early on. Lauren likes to think their over-achiever and type A tendencies made them gravitate towards each other and for that she is thankful because without Courtney she doesn't think she would've thrived in college as much as she did. Courtney has a bright spirit and is extremely genuine. When the two of them are in the same room you can guarantee no one else is getting a word in.

Thom

Groomsman

Jason met Thom back in 1995 when Jason was born. Thom is the eldest brother, and is married with 2 boys. Thom would let Jason get close to winning in Chess, but when they played with chores on the line he would crush Jason, and that is why Jason claims to have trust issues today. Thom has since grown an empathetic side and is a big teddy bear that is cray about sports.

Ashley

Bridesmaid

Ashley and Lauren became friends in middle school. They have evolved from the days where they used to sit and roll a ball across the basement floor counting how many times they could go back and forth without failing, to the days where they would tear up the dancefloor at the bars, to the days now where we go to church together with our partners. Oh how the times change, but the friendship always lasts.

Josh

Groomsman

Josh and Jason are more than brothers - they were coworkers, and neighbors. Josh is the brother that would beat Jason down just so he could build him back up. He is a proud producer of refrigerators that go in stores (or something weird like that), and rooms always seems to get louder whenever he enters.

Anna

Bridesmaid

Anna was one of Lauren's first new friends when they both entered middle school (6th grade). Lauren always thought Anna was too cool for her as she was the first of Lauren's friends to have boy-girl parties. That stuff was a big deal for a 6th grader. Through high school, college, and early adulthood they both have remained friends. Anna is best known for her memorable laugh, a laugh that Lauren is thankful she has gotten to continue to hear throughout all these years.

Daniel

Groomsman

Daniel is the 4th oldest and 2nd closest in age to Jason. "Cool Dan" was his nickname when Jason was in elementary school because he would whip him around on the merry go round at 65 mph. You can thank Daniel for being the reason for Jason getting into cars, and auctions, and especially car auctions. Once Jason threw a dart at Daniel's foot on accident.

Mallory

Bridesmaid

Mallory and Lauren met in the Interior Design program at MSU. They formed a bond in the later years of college and Mallory was such a wonderful and special addition to Lauren's friends. Mallory played a huge role in Lauren's faith, and Lauren regaining connection to the Lord. Time they spend together is always filled with laughter - the kind that you are literally sore from the next day, and love, so much love.

Brian

Groomsman

Brian is the closest in age to Jason - he is a teacher and is very passionate about everything he does in life. That dedication is what pushed Jason into a lot of his favorite hobbies; such as basketball. If you like the feeling of winning then avoid playing board games against him.
