The cheeseburger at Au Cheval (in West Loop) is the best you'll ever have: a perfect 10. But you'll also never get in there—the line is always bananas. This outpost is the next best thing: an almost-perfect 9.75, with a dramatically shorter wait.
Pub Royale
An amazing Indian food joint in the neighborhood (which also, inexplicably, has an amazing cheeseburger).
Piece Brewery
It's a New England-style pizza place, but also one of the best pizza places in the city (and a brewery, to boot!).
Mott St
We go here every year for our anniversary. It's astonishingly good.
