Travel Note
Pisa (PSA) or Florence (FLR) → Lucca → Taxi/Private Transfer → Casale de’ Pasquinelli Once you’re in Lucca, we strongly recommend a taxi or pre-booked private transfer to the villa area (Segromigno in Monte/Capannori), since local buses can be limited, especially in the evening. Rental cars (optional, but helpful) Renting a car is not required, but it’s the easiest way to explore Tuscany and get around on your own schedule. If you do rent, pick-up is easiest at Pisa (PSA) or Florence (FLR). Tip: automatic cars can sell out, so book early if you need one. Accommodations (Overflow) For those not staying in the villas we recommend staying in these two convenient areas: Option A: Stay inside Lucca (best for charm + walkability) Lucca is beautiful and easy for restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. You’ll be about 15–20 minutes from the venue by car/taxi. Option B: Stay closer to the venue (most convenient for events) For the easiest logistics (especially after dinner/dancing), consider staying in the Capannori / Segromigno in Monte area. It’s quieter and typically requires taxis/transfers or a car. We’ve listed recommended hotels and Airbnb/vacation rental areas below.
House Or Rental
We’re so excited to celebrate together! The villa has limited overnight space, and we’ve already arranged the on-site rooms for a small group (immediate family + wedding party). For those not staying on-site, there are lots of great options in Lucca, and we’ll share our favorites below.
