Things To Do

We are so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our wedding with our friends and family in Vail! We hope you enjoy all that this beautiful mountain town has to offer and are so excited to share a few of our favorite places with you.

Outdoor Activites

Gondola & Scenic Views A ride up Vail Mountain is one of the most beautiful ways to experience the area. At the top, Eagle’s Nest is a wonderful place to stop for a drink or a casual lunch. You will also have access to beautiful hiking trails at the top of the mountain and leading back to town. Golf For anyone hoping to spend time on the course, Vail Golf Club offers a beautiful public course surrounded by mountain views. Hiking Vail offers countless beautiful trails for a morning or afternoon outing. One of our favorites is Mayflower Gulch. The Gore Creek Trail and Booth Falls are also popular favorites. The free Vail bus provides convenient access to the Booth Falls trailhead. Betty Ford Alpine Gardens A peaceful and distinctly Vail experience, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is perfect for a relaxed morning or afternoon stroll. The gardens are open daily from dawn to dusk.

Places to Eat

There are so many incredible places to eat within the Vail Village. Here are just a few of our favorites... Sweet Basil A longtime favorite and perfect for brunch, lunch, or dinner. We both especially love the whipped feta. Mountain Standard A warm, lively spot known for beautifully prepared wood-fired dishes. El Segundo A fun choice for tacos and margaritas. Jason will insist you try the "Hot Korean" taco Red Lion A classic casual option for food, drinks, and an upbeat atmosphere. Katherine will insist you try the "Chicken Dino Bites" Vendetta’s Italian Restaurant A go-to for classic pizza and pasta (and late night bites) Bully Ranch Another classic, laid back option for a cold beer and great burger.
