Things To Do

There are so many things to explore in Havana. Below are few places that we have been and enjoyed. Please feel free to do your own research and explore this magical city

El Del Frente

303 O'Rilley, Havana, Cuba

Our favorite restaurant in Old Havana.

Partagas Cigar Factory

Calle Industria 520, Havana, Cuba

National Cigar factory. You can take a tour and see people making cigars. Make sure to buy a ticket for 10 CUC at the plaza hotel beforehand. Romeo E Juliette cigar shop is nearby. You can buy some Cuban cigars at a good price. If you do plan on buying Cuban cigars, do not purchase them from people on the street as those are likely to be fake.

Fábrica de Arte Cubano

Calle 26, La Habana, La Habana, Cuba
, +53 7 8382260

Words cannot explain how cool this place is. Art museum/ Bar/ Night club. If you have time, definitely worth checking out.

La casa del son

411 Empedrado, La Habana, La Habana 10100, Cuba
, +53 7 8616179

Fancy a salsa lesson? A really fun spot to take a salsa lesson for 18 CUC per hour. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand. There is a bar inside so you can take rum shots before your lesson.

El Cocinero

Calle 26, vedado, Havana, Cuba

Another favorite restaurant of ours. Old old factory turned into a restaurant. A nice rooftop with great ambience. There's a bar inside the smokestack!

Free Walking Tour Havana

La Habana, La Habana, Cuba

Take any free walking tours. It is a great way to see the city. It is great way to interact with Cubans and get local tips.

Dona Eutemia

Callejon del Chorro # 60-C, Havana, Cuba

A great cuban restaurant right off of Plaza Cathedral. Reservation is a must.

El Floridita Bar

Obispo, La Habana, La Habana, Cuba
, +53 7 8671300

Supposedly where Daiquiris were invented. Hemingway's hangout spot. Mango daiquiris were very yummy

La Bodeguita Del Medio

Empedrado, La Habana, La Habana, Cuba
, +53 7 8671374

Supposedly where Mojitos were invented. Another Hemingway's favorite spot. It is always packed but a fun place to visit regardless and get a mojito on the street.

For all the days along the way
