A Short Joke

A girl walks into a bar and asks the bartender for something sour. The bartender says "Absolutely. He's sitting to your right."

Three Wrongs Make a Right

10/25/2018

// The Wrong Beer For The Right Man \\ Once upon a time, a girl walked into a bar and was given the wrong beer. Soon the bartender corrected their mistake, but too late! Heidi had taken a sip! That left poor Heidi with a problem. What, oh what, could she do with this extra beer? She looked to her right and saw the answer. “Hello bearded stranger sitting next to me, you look like you drink beer. Would you like this beer that is only partially consumed?” “Well thank you, new friend, and gladly. In a fair exchange, would you like to talk about your feelings?” Said Jason. And she did, and they did, again and again. // The Right Man For The Wrong Time, Part I \\ Heidi and Jason soon became inseparable. They grew into each other as they entertained and traveled and explored. Soon enough Jason met Heidi’s girls, Parker and Emersen, and he fell in love all over again. Just in time too because, as you might recall, thats right about when we decided to have a Global Pandemic. Immediately Heidi was holding a high school together while Jason held up the household; the girls learned Fractions and Physics while Jason learned Fatherhood. They survived and then they thrived. Well, most of them. // The Right Man For The Wrong Time, Part II \\ Once through the pandemic, Heidi became painfully exhausted and bedridden with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. Like long COVID, it is a little understood illness with no cure that leaves you a shell of your former self. Most days for two-and-a-half years, Heidi was unable to sit up or leave the bed, so she had to leave Education and take permanent disability. Jason became her full-time caregiver where again he cooked, cleaned, shopped, parented, but now went to soccer and field hockey games, advocated at doctor appointments, and took care of everything the family needed. His kindness and loyalty made a brutal situation bearable. Time passed. // The Right Time For The Right Girls \\ Then, after several years of resting, sleeping, more resting, then trying everything from Nicotine to Nicosia, Cyprus, Heidi found an off-label treatment that started to significantly improve her mobility, energy, and intellect; it’s been life-changing. While there still no cure, Heidi has improved so much in the last 8 months that Jason was able to go back to work, she was able to (occasionally) beat him at cribbage and, with the girls, were finally able to start getting excited about what happens next. Which brings us to today, where we would be overjoyed to have you, our family and friends, join us for our wedding day celebration as we begin the next part of our lives together
