We ask that all invited guests RSVP on our website no later than August 12th. If you are having issues RSVPing online, please reach out to Erica or Jason for assistance.
You may arrive as early as 5pm for the 6pm ceremony. Guests will be welcomed with drinks and appetizers upon arrival. Please arrive no later than 5:45pm.
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire and while we are encouraging guests to wear colors from our wedding color pallet, this is not required. Please wear whatever you feel comfortable and confident in. Think "sunset" when thinking of our color pallet (pink, orange, yellow, light purple, light blue, etc). If a pop of color isn't your thing, but still want to participate, we recommend dressing in some light neutrals (tan, beige, light brown). For the ladies, we advise against stiletto heels as each event of the day will occur outdoors. Flats, low or block heels are recommended.
Yes. We have scheduled a shuttle service picking up and dropping off wedding guests in downtown Nevada City at the National Exchange Hotel. There will be 2 different pick up and drop off times - please see the "schedule" section for more details. We highly encourage using the shuttle service at there will be limited parking at the venue. In addition to limited parking, it is a 5-10 minute walk to the house entrance. The shuttle service will be able to provide the most direct accommodations with drop off at the front entrance.
The ceremony and reception are both taking place at Scott's Flat Lake (more specifically at the address provided on the invitation). The ceremony site and reception are very close in proximity (~30 steps apart). Please note that both locations are outdoors.
OF COURSE! Specialty cocktails, beer, and wine will be provided.
Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at our venue due to limited seating. We hope you are able to join us anyway and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends and family! The children in attendance will be limited to direct family members only.
We have a strict guest list as our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
So glad you asked ;) This is a private residence in a forested area. Reception and streetlights are limited. Although we are encouraging the shuttle for all transportation needs, should you decide to drive to the venue, we recommend downloading off-line directions (Google Maps allows for offline maps). As service is sparse, it is easy to lose your way if unfamiliar with the area given the limited streetlights.
Should you have any additional questions, please reach out to the parents of the bride and groom, or the bride and groom directly.
