Nasher Sculpture Center

We had one of our first dates at the Nasher Sculpture Garden. The garden is home to one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary sculptures in the world.

Dealey Plaza

Dealey Plaza is a significant part of Dallas history. The site marks the birthplace of Dallas, in the 1840s. Hailed as “The Front Door of Dallas,” Dealey Plaza served as the major gateway to the city from the west and, equally important, as a symbol of civic pride. Later, in 1963 it was the location where JFK was assassinated. For even more history, check out The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.

Dallas Farmers Market

Sprawling daily market with a focus on seasonal produce plus meat, honey, specialty foods & flowers. There are also quite a few cute shops and places to grab a quick bite to eat.

Deep Ellum

Deep Ellum is known for its vibrant street murals, quirky art galleries and long-time concert venues for indie and blues music.

Dallas Museum Of Art

Klyde Warren Park

A 5-acre deck park built over a recessed eight-lane freeway. It's an engineering marvel, and a great space with outdoor restaurants and food trucks. If you have young kiddos there is also a splash park and playground.
