Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please respond by February 1, 2026 to help us with final planning. You can RSVP directly on the RSVP page.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please RSVP only for the guests listed on your invitation. If you have questions about your invitation, just let us know.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We’d love for the whole family to celebrate with us. Babysitters will be available during the reception so parents can relax and enjoy the evening. Please reach out if you’d like more details.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

• Welcome Party: All-white attire. Festive and comfortable for an evening of drinks and mingling. • Ceremony & Reception: Formal attire. Gentlemen, a suit and tie is perfect (tuxedos welcome but not required). Ladies, cocktail dresses or floor-length gowns. We encourage color to keep the celebration lively. • Post-Wedding Brunch: Casual and comfortable. Sundresses, light linens, or whatever feels good after a night of celebrating. Venue Tip: The wedding location has gravel, so if you’re wearing heels, block heels or wedges will make dancing and walking much easier!

Question

How do I survive a Spanish wedding?

Answer

Spanish weddings are full of energy, laughter, and long celebrations that can go into the early hours, so pace yourself! Rest well beforehand by taking a Spanish-style siesta and arrive ready to celebrate. Don’t be shy—join in the traditions: wave your napkin when the newlyweds enter and shout “¡Que vivan los novios!” (“Long live the bride and groom!”) or “¡Que se besen!” (“Let them kiss!”). Dinner will be delicious and plentiful, and the party continues afterward with music, dancing, and lots of fun. Don’t worry about getting home as transportation will be provided at various hours of the night.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please include any dietary needs when you RSVP, or contact us directly so we can accommodate you comfortably. Meat will be served during dinner, so let us know if you need vegetarian, vegan, or other special options.

Question

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have shuttle service available to transport guests from the ceremony to the reception venue and back to the hotels afterward. If you’re not walking to the ceremony, we recommend taking a taxi or rideshare, as parking in the city center is limited and can be challenging.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Valencia in early May typically enjoys mild and pleasant spring weather, with daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to mid-70s °F (18-24°C). Expect plenty of sunshine, perfect for outdoor activities and celebrations. Evenings can be cooler, so bringing a light jacket or wrap is a good idea. While rain is uncommon this time of year, it’s always wise to check the forecast closer to your trip. Overall, it’s a beautiful season to experience Valencia’s vibrant atmosphere and stunning scenery! P.S. Don't forget comfortable shoes for exploring the city!

Question

Do I need to know Spanish?

Answer

Not at all! Valencia is very international, and most people in hotels, restaurants, and shops speak some English. Learning a few phrases like hola (hello), gracias (thank you), and por favor (please) is always appreciated but not necessary.

Question

How do I get around the city and is it safe?

Answer

Valencia is very walkable and has an excellent public transport system with metro, buses, and trams. Taxis and rideshare apps are also easy to find, and renting a bike is popular—especially along the Turia Gardens. The city is also considered one of the safest in Spain. Just keep an eye out for pickpockets in busy areas, as you would in any major city.

Question

Do I need to tip in Spain?

Answer

Tipping in Spain is neither expected nor mandatory. If you feel compelled, don't tip more than 10% of your bill. Rounding up the bill or leaving €1–2 at a café or restaurant is perfectly fine.

Question

Is tap water safe to drink in Valencia?

Answer

Yes, the tap water is safe to drink. Some people prefer bottled water due to the taste, but it’s perfectly fine to drink straight from the tap.

Question

What time do people usually eat in Valencia?

Answer

Lunch is typically from 2:00–3:30 pm and dinner is later than you might expect, usually starting around 9:00 pm. If you’re hungry earlier, many cafés and casual spots offer food all day.

Is there a gifts registry?

Answer
