Do I have to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to come?

Answer

Yes! For the health and safety of our guests, everyone at the wedding must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Please get your booster before the wedding if eligible.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:45pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm.

Are kids invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us

Will there be a shuttle to/from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle from the Allegro Hotel to the wedding venue and back. Please see the Reception Details tab for more information.

How should I get there and is there parking?

Answer

If you choose to drive to the wedding, there is a free parking lot across the street from the venue on Racine Street! If you take an Uber or Lyft, make sure to specify that you are going to the "Sculpture Garden."

What is the history of Bridgeport Art Center?

Answer

Bridgeport Art Center (BAC), formerly the Spiegel Catalog Warehouse, was built in 1911. Although dramatically renovated, BAC has original fixtures such as the wood plank flooring, timber wood posts and skylights. Other details of the old warehouse have been repurposed and restored, such as vintage steel plates from the factory which are currently used as stall doors in the men's and women's bathrooms! Currently, BAC is home to 2 wedding venues as well as individual spaces that belong to over 40 different artists and their respective studios.
