Both the ceremony and reception will be at Oakdale FES, located at 190 N Lee Ave, Oakdale, CA 95361. The ceremony will be outdoor, and the reception will be indoor.
We are very much hoping that the risk of contracting COVID-19 is reduced by July. With that in mind, as of now we will not be asking guests to wear masks. Should the situation require it, we will keep you updated on this matter.
We really struggled with this one. We love our family and friends, which includes their kids, but we are also parents, so we know how different it is to attend an event with our kids versus without them. We want our family and friends who are also parents to be able to get crazy on the dance floor and enjoy their food and drinks without having to ensure that one or more other tiny. humans are fed and entertained as well. That being said, we know some people won't be able to come if they can't bring their kids, and we don't want that either, so if you are able to get childcare, please do. If not, we get it, and we still want you there.
The feel we want for our wedding is light, breezy, and fun. We want our guests to feel good, look good, and have a good time! Wear what makes you feel best, wear what will make you most likely to take a BUNCH of pictures, and wear something that will keep you comfortable celebrating all evening with us. If you were looking for a more specific answer: comfy semi-formal. If you want an excuse to dress super fancy, DO IT. If you prefer a nice pair of jeans with a nice shirt, that works too. We'd like to keep a little touch of class, so maybe avoid distressed denim and dirty sneakers? Regardless, no one is going to be kicked out for wearing the wrong thing, we promise.
