Bianca moved home from college in 2011. Her family runs local dart tournaments and leagues, so she began getting into it to have fun and spend time with them, including her cousin Lupe Flores, who also happens to be Jason's best friend. Around the same time that Bianca started attending dart events, Jason began attending them as well. They both developed crushes on each other, but it took a while to get the timing right. At darts one night in January of 2014—just after Jason turned 25 and Bianca 24, when Bianca had all but given up, Jason asked for Bianca's phone. He saved his phone number and email address as a contact and asked her to dinner and a movie. The last seven years have been filled with ups and downs, the work of maintaining a healthy relationship, the building of careers—hers as a high school English teacher and his as a union low-voltage technician, the joy of bringing two beautiful boys into this world together, and plenty of life's surprises along the way (including somehow going from one to three dogs—all male, do not recommend). They are finally ready to make their lifetime commitments to each other official as Mr. and Mrs. Gonzalez.
