Our story begins back in the fall of 2017 when Ashley college at MLC. Here is where she met Cassie Rose (now Pasbrig). After the freshman mixer, Cassie and Ashley would be close friends all throughout their college years. Cassie would regale her friends with stories of her family, though Cassie's brother Jason was rarely mentioned. For all Ashley knew, he was just a fictitious story that Cassie would tell her friends about every once in a blue moon. The year is now 2022 and college graduation is in sight. Ashley was eager to get into her career but was sad to think about leaving her friends. She always thought how it would be fun to marry into Cassie's family so that they would have excuses to get together for family holidays. Little did she know what God had in store. On June 24th, 2022 Ashley made her way to Crown of Life Church in Hubertus Wisconsin for Cassie's wedding rehearsal. A day she had eagerly waiting for because she would finally get to meet the groomsman she was assigned to walk with, the infamous Jason Rose Jr. Ashley and Jason instantly hit it off, after cracking through Jason's initial shy and awkward demeanor. Many people that night saw the spark between them and offered their assistance in getting them connected after the wedding, but they had it covered. Their first official date was just a couple weeks later when Jason came to stay the weekend at her home in Wonewoc. On August 7, 2022 their relationship became officially after Jason caught Ashley a foul ball at a Brewers Game. Jason was still finishing up at UW Platteville, so they spent many weekends traveling to see each other. It was on January 20, 2024 that Jason decided to ask Ashley to marry him on a cold winter walk through a lit path along the Wisconsin River. She didn't think it was going to happen until that fall, so she was completely surprised. They excitedly starting making plans to marry on July 18, 2025 until circumstances led them to become husband and wife on July 7, 2024.
