Roger Baker
Best Man
Roger Baker: formerly a skinny boy ladies man living off bagels and hotdogs in 2009, turned to a muscle man and loyal husband in 2023, devoted father to baby girl Alaia in 2024 and be sure look for him on the ballot as mayor of Novato in--well, we're not sure when but it's absolutely coming . Roger has come a long way over the years and proudly holds the title of best man. If you run into Roger in the wild he is probably (definitely) in Novato either coaching basketball or drinking an IPA. Unless it's football season, if so he's obsessively checking his fantasy lineup. Although Roger initially had his concerns about his best friend and his (at the time) girlfriend's best friend dating each other, one thing marriage has taught Roger: he is never and never will be right (Nathalie can attest.) Fortunately for us, Roger was in the wrong (again_ and is stuck with us for life-- but we're pretty sure he's happy about it.
Nathalie Baker Urroz
Maid of Honor
Basque goddess (according to her husband, as well as several other sources) and queen of the hair wrap circa 2011. Nathalie and Allie met running cross country sophomore year of high school. They have spent many a plane ride, hike, or anxiety ridden phone call being there for each other. Not only is she Maid of Honor but she is also married to the best man! If weren't for Nathalie, this wedding may have never existed, as she predicted the whole thing over 6 years ago when neither of us were even single. We appreciate Nathalie for her friendship, matchmaking skills and we forgive her for her questionable taste in movies. If you want to start a good discussion at cocktail hour, ask her what she thinks about Sam Sterman being granted equal parts credit for setup!
Matt Peachey

Meet Matt Peachey, another preschool buddy. Matt is that friend who can walk into any room and instantly make friends with everyone, thanks to his outgoing and sincere personality. By day, Matt is a superhero in scrubs, working as a nurse. By night (and on weekends), he transforms into an electronic music aficionado and a golf enthusiast. If you ever need a recommendation for new music (or first dance song?) Matt's your man. We've shared countless memories, from childhood antics to late-night concerts. One thing's for sure: life is never dull with Matt around. I'm thrilled to have him by my side as a groomsman, and I can't wait to see what new adventures we get into next!
Kelsey Ripp
Bridesmaid
Kelsey is both a physician and an educator teaching medical students in Rwanda, but her true aspiration is to become sponsored by outdoor lifestyle brand Cotopaxi (we think 2024 will be her year!) Kelsey and Allie met in seventh grade and have shared common interests in everything from gymnastics and running, to Mariah Carey dance routines. Fortunately their common interests have matured since 2002 and they now spend their time together hiking, running, and traveling the world. When she isn't saving lives and changing the world, Kelsey's talents include NYT word games, crushing a marathon with minimal (actually, zero) formal training, and getting in and out of exceptionally precarious parking spots (ask her about renting a car in Marseille!) Kelsey was there on the hike where we got engaged (kudos for avoiding spoilers!) We are so grateful she will fly across the world to be there on our wedding day.
Will Colburn

Meet Will Colburn, a fearless explorer of the skies and life. He's a guy you can count on for witty banter and deep conversations alike. When he's not flying planes, he's navigating the chaos of fatherhood with his lovely better half, Jenna, soon to be evenly matched by a second baby boy. From Utah to Hawaii, Will's life journey has been as wild as his camping chair mishaps (pictured above.) Catch him slinking around on the dance floor to Nicki Minaj. Thrilled to have him as a groomsman, bringing his sense of humor and undeniable charm to our big day.
Susie Ade
Bridesmaid
Susie is is the happiest person you will ever meet. Allie's friend of over a decade; they became acquainted when she started dating Allie's then roommate Max in the summer of 2013. Max had a crush on Susie, but Susie stole Allie's heart and they became fast friends, spending the next few years as the only two females in a fun and lively, albeit beer can infested, house in the Mission. Susie is incredible because she has been known to regularly double fist ice cream (pints), crush a half marathon on command, study to be a sommelier and she has been clinically diagnosed as impossible to dislike. We are so happy to have her (and Max!) back on west coast to celebrate.
Matthew Dick

What do you say to the guy who has it all? Successful engineer, married to the beautiful Dana Baldini, new father by the wedding date and the eldest Dick brother. Matthew is famously the life of any wedding party, and we hope November 9th will be no exception. He is a monster on the dance floor, has a laugh that can be heard a mile away, and according to Allie has never told a bad joke in his life. He is king of coding and strategic board games but despite those qualities is a remarkably cool person and great conversationalist. We are thrilled to have Matthew standing (and probably laughing) by our sides and so grateful to have him as our family.
Dana Baldini
Bridesmaid
Product manager by profession and Michelin star food critic by hobby, Dana is most likely to save the day from a bridal party miscue, and also give tasting notes on the dinner menu. Dana is married to Jason's oldest brother Matthew; she is mother to their precious french bulldog, Bean, and soon to be mother of baby boy Archie! Between the two, we'll see which baby demands more attention the day of the wedding, but its more than likely Bean. While not formally blood related, Dana has served as a sister to Jason for years, making sure he has clothes that don't have holes in them with a yearly wardrobe refresh each Christmas (for which Allie is eternally grateful.) We love Dana for her honesty, loyalty and ability to call a spade a spade!
Brian Dick

Introducing Brian Dick, my brilliant brother, and our family’s resident urologist. Known for his smarts and a touch of anxiety, Brian once hilariously misunderstood that our brother Matthew's new mother-in-law was, in fact, not also his mother-in-law. When he’s not buried in surgeries, Brian loves to travel, savor new cuisines, and dominate board games. He's also taught me the fine art of winning an argument…by any means necessary. Keep an eye out for the future “Dr. Dick the Dick Doctor” billboard. We all know it’s just a matter of time!
Sarah Zimmerman
Bridesmaid
Sarah is fun, outgoing and will be sure to keep the party everything but boring. Dating Jason's middle brother, Brian, she excels in creating the perfect cocktail, finding the best restaurants, and putting Brian in his place when he won't stop talking about urology. Sarah's warmth, sense of humor and genuinity make her immediately feel like family. She is a full time mom to Rutherford or "Rufus" who is the actual best and cutest Bernese mountain dog of all time, and part time mom to Brian who has the intellect of a brain surgeon but the emotional capacity of a small child. We love Sarah's positive energy, high quality taste in tequila, and we're so thrilled to have her with us on our wedding day.
Alex Franklin

Meet Alex Franklin, my future brother-in-law. Detail-oriented and straight to the point, Alex can tell a story like no other, though his sister Allison often joins in, much to his "delight." A die-hard Bay Area sports fan and golf pro, Alex knows more about sports trivia than anyone you've ever met. He's been a key player in making sure I feel right at home in the family, assuring me that marrying Allison is not a hostage situation. If the conversation ever runs dry, ask Alex to name the Super Bowl winner of any given year. You'll be in for a treat!
Shanie LaRocca

Shanie and Allison met in Keys North hall on their first day as freshmen at Boston College. They quickly bonded over being Newtonites, their adoration of adult coloring books, and plans to become future teachers! Shanie’s family generously accepted her as a second daughter when she couldn’t make it home for breaks, and Shanie relished in poking fun as Allison’s shock and enthusiasm whenever the first snow came to Boston each winter. Shanie is an educator, mother of two, and makes an incredible marathon cheer sign. While thousands of miles apart today, each phone call or meet up they fall right back into old times, and we’re so excited to have her all the way from Connecticut!
David Fink

Introducing David Fink. Formerly Alex's golf teammate and still known as "Brother Dave" to Allison. Despite not being formally blood related, Dave now holds the title of our esteemed officiant. Dave is loving, funny, the ultimate hype man and has a curiosity about the world that we all admire. Dave cherishes quality time with his wife Kaitlin and their adorable baby girl Maeve. When we started dating, Dave and Kaitlyn were a package deal, welcoming Jason with open arms and a healthy dose of competitive spirit. From intense cornhole matches to epic ring toss showdowns, Dave and Jason have built a solid friendship on our mutual desire to outdo each other. We couldn't be more thrilled to have Dave officiate our wedding, bringing his warmth, humor, and unique perspective to our special day.
