Let's Try This Again!

A simple Facebook friend request was all it took... he accepted and messaged me immediately. At the time we couldn't officially meet because he was living in Florida. We messaged, exchanged other social media information and began "dating" through FaceTime for several weeks. It was so simple and effortless. After the 4th of July, he got a contract back in NY and drove 17 hours straight to take me on our first official date. He insisted that he met my parents when he picked me up - he wanted to see my mother's true reaction when he gave me the paperwork that we would be skydiving 3 days later. We went to Pasta Villa before going to see Ant Man in our Marvel attire. We spent every day that week together and both knew right then and there that this is who we wanted to spend every week with for the rest of our lives.

The day after my 25th birthday he surprised me with a Seneca Lake Wine Tour with 30 of our closest friends and family. He had me thinking we were going to breakfast with our parents and then hiking all around Rochester for the day. At Ventosa Vineyards, he got in front of everyone and gave a cute speech on how thankful he was that everyone was able join us, called me out to join him and then got down on one knee. So many details went into that moment and my ring was unique and personalized just the way I wanted.
